Disposal of bulky waste items in Westminster
Bulky waste in Westminster – dealing with large items of waste
If you have refitted your shop, business, or even a property as a landlord in central London, one of the biggest problems you may face is how to get rid of the old unwanted materials. Bulky waste items include office furniture, electrical items, desks, mattresses etc.
There are a number of options available from skip hire to a “man with a van” but few allow you the peace of mind that your waste materials are being treated appropriately. Do please remember that if your waste is found to be dumped or disposed of in an inappropriate manner, you may still be liable or responsible.
If you are looking for a professional service that gives you 100% peace of mind then you should talk to the Westminster City Council Commercial Waste team. Our service provides for any waste volumes; from a single office chair to complete workspace refurbishments. We also offer a specialist bulky waste service to landlords and managing agents of residential properties.
What kind of bulky waste items can we collect?
Examples of some of the items we collect can include:

Our bulky waste collections are competitively priced, picked up within eight working days and, if not possible to be re-used, are recycled to a high environmental standard. Just contact us if you want to know more.
Please note that large cardboard boxes can be collected through the regular recycling collection. Please break up and flatten the boxes to a manageable size, affix a cardboard sticker and place them out for your next scheduled recycling collection time.
