The UK government announced over the weekend new national restrictions coming into force as of 5th November over a four-week period lasting until 2nd December. These new restrictions will replace the local COVID-19 alert level restrictions in your area.
As a result of these restrictions, a number of businesses and venues are ordered to close during this lockdown period. This includes non-essential retail, leisure facilities (such as swimming pools and gyms), entertainment venues, personal care facilities (e.g. salons) and hospitality venues (pubs and restaurants).

Due to these new national restrictions, you may need to change or adjust your commercial waste collections with Commercial Waste Services.
Pause your collections
At Commercial Waste Services, we have implemented a new feature allowing you to pause your waste and recycling collections. This option enables you to temporarily stop some or all of your container waste collections as we enter this lockdown period.
Your collections will be paused and activated again on the dates you mention on the form. Please note that equipment hire charges still apply for any equipment that remains on-site.
